Harbord Diggers Winter Edition Harbord Diggers Autumn Edition

Residential DA
In late 2008 the club lodged a Stage 1 Development Application with Warringah Council to build a number of residential dwellings on vacant portion's of the clubs land. The sale of these dwellings was to be used to rejuvenate the current clubhouse. While the club significantly modified the application to comply with all council requests, including reducing the number of dwellings to 26, modifying setbacks and making suitable provisions for parking the application has now been formally refused by Council .The club has 12 months in which to lodge an appeal and we are considering our position in this regard.

Outdoor Gaming Deck
A separate DA was lodged with Warringah Council to construct an Outdoor Gaming area in July 2009 which has now been approved. Construction for this project is likely to begin by mid to late May 2010 as the finishing touches are placed on the plans for this exciting new area.

So as you can see, ‘here we grow again!’
